Our seniors are an active and vibrant group that loves serving the church and the larger community.
Every second Thursday of the month, we host a senior luncheon called Happy Hearts, where we often have speakers or activities to encourage fellowship and community. Speakers and entertainment have included the Maumee Mayor; local historians; the Toledo Public Library; The Center on Aging; line dancing taught by our own Cari Olman; The Maumee Select Choir; The Walleye Chaplain; playing Bingo; White Elephant; a concert by local organist and pianist, our own Lynda Dunn; and Picnics at SideCut in August.
